PUBLIC NOTICE No. 69 /2004-09

NEW DELHI: April 7, 2005

In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-07, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1):

1. The first three lines of Para 3.2.6 A (Reproduced below for clarity) are amended to read as follows:

Existing provision

The scheme will be applicable to status holders who were also status holders as on 31.3.2003 and who had achieved minimum export turnover of Rs. 25 crores in the year 2003-04.

Amended provision

The scheme will be applicable to status holders/ star export houses who had achieved minimum export turnover of Rs. 25 crores in the year 2003-04.

2. Appendix 17D contained as Annexure ‘A’ to this Public Notice prescribing the application format for the Duty Free Credit Entitlement Scheme for status holders for the year 2003-04 replaces the earlier Appendix 17D.
