PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 67 (RE:2006)/2004-2009

In exercise of the powers conferred
under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign
Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the
Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following
amendments/additions/deletions/corrections in the Handbook of Procedures,
Vol.2, 2004-2009, as amended from time to time.
2. In the statement of Standard Input Output
Norms (SION) as contained in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.2), 2004-2009, as
amended from time to time, the amendments/additions/deletions/corrections at appropriate
places as mentioned in ANNEXURE "A” to this Public Notice are made.
3 In the statement of Standard Input
Output Norms (SION), the following additions shall be made at appropriate
places as mentioned below: -
CHEMICALS AND ALLIED PRODUCTS
After the
existing SION entry at Sl.No.A-3625, new SION entry at Sl.No. A-3626 is added as per ANNEXURE “B” to this Public Notice.
This issues
in public interest.

can be allowed by adopting the following formula:
A X 0.49/B MT
Where “A” = Quantity allowed for One MT of export
under the above SION
Where “B” = Net content of Rubber in MT per MT of
export item.
Note: 2. Whenever Rubber Hose is reinforced with Polyester
Fabric, Polyester Filament Yarn may be allowed on
the basis of 1.05 MT per MT content in the export.
Note: 3. Wherever the applicant intend to import Rubber
Compound instead of Rubber and Chemicals, the following Norms may be adopted:
A.
Relevant Rubber Compound-1.05 MT/MT content in export item.
B.
Polyester Filament Yarn of Relevant Denior
– 1.05 MT/MT content in export item.
