PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 64 (RE-2003)/2002-2007 NEW DELHI:

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy 2002-2007, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I):
1. The following sentence is added to para 3.12.1 as under:
In case of export of drugs and pharmaceuticals interalia including intermediaries, herbal, ayurvedic, unani and homeopathic medicines; biotech and biological products; diagnostics, surgicals, nutraceuticals, pharma industry related services, collaborative research, contract manufacturing, providing base for clinical trials and consultancy, the RCMC can be obtained from the Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council.
2. The first sentence of para 4.25 pertaining to deemed exports is amended as under:
For deemed exports
(i) A copy of the invoice or a statement of invoices duly signed by the unit receiving the material and their jurisdictional excise authorities certifying the item of supply, its quantity , value and date of such supply.
3. The following is amended in Appendix 15 pertaining to “Agri Export Zone”
