PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 56(RE-2007)/2004-2009
NEW DELHI, DATED THE 1st October, 2007
In
exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy
2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following
amendments in Handbook of Procedures, v 1:
1.
Paragraph 4.46 related to “Time period” for filing DEPB application stands
amended as follows:
4.46 Application for obtaining
credit shall be filed within a period of twelve months from the date of exports
or the date of up linking of EDI shipping bill details in the DGFT website
or within six months from the date of realisation or within three months from
the date of printing / release of shipping bill, whichever is later, in respect
of shipments for which claim has been filed.
2. Last
sentence of paragraph 4.7.5 amended vide PN 37 dated 23.8.07 stands amended as
follows:
“However, NC should ensure
that such adhoc norm(s), if not notified already, are notified within six
months of the ratification of such adhoc norm(s).”
This
issues in Public interest.
