NEW DELHI: the 24th January 2005

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment(s) in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I):-

1. The 1^st Para of 3.12 is amended to read as under:-

An exporter desiring to obtain a Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) shall declare his main line of business in the application, which shall be made to the Export Promotion Council (EPC) relating to that line of business. However, a status holder has the option to obtain RCMC from Federation of Indian Exporters Organization (FIEO).

2. The existing Appendix-27 shall be substituted by the revised Appendix-27 as given in Annexure-I to this Public Notice.

3. After the existing entry at Sl.No.37 in Appendix 35A following new entries are added:

38. All DGFT offices as per their territorial jurisdiction as given in Appendix-24 of Handbook of Procedures Vol.I.

39. All Regional Offices of Export Promotion Councils as indicated in this Appendix
