Subject:- Procedure for import of various items under Tariff Rate Quota(TRQ).

In exercise of powers conferred under Para 2.4 of Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, the DGFT makes the following announcements:

The last date for filing applications for import under TRQ as per para 2.61 of the Handbook of Procedures for the financial year 2006-07 has been extended upto 31^st July 2006 for the following three items only:-

(1) Skimmed and whole milk powder, milk food for babies etc. (0402.10 or 0402.21)

(2) Maize (corn): other (1005.90) and

(3) Refined rape, colza or mustard oil,

other (1514.19 or 1514.99).

This issues in the Public interest.
