NEW DELHI, the 13^th August, 2002

S.O.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraphs 2.1 and 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-2007 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import items, 2002-2007 and as amended from time to time:-

2. Under the heading “Fertilisers “ in Table B of Schedule 2 of the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import items, 2002-2007 , the following new entry may be created after Item Code No. 3103 :

Code	Item Description	Policy	Nature of Restriction
3104	Muriate of Potash (MOP)	Restricted	Export permitted under licence.

2. This issues in public interest.
