NOTIFICATION NO. 92 (RE-2007)/2004-2009

Subject :  Prohibition on export of Edible Oils  – regarding.

 

 

S.O.(E)            In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 read with Section 3(2) of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) and also read with Para 1.3 and Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, the Central Government hereby makes, with immediate effect, following additions, at the end of Paragraph of 1 of Notification No.85 (RE-2007)/2004-2009 dated 17.3.2008 :

 

“1.1      Restrictions imposed vide this Notification shall not apply to the following :

 

(i)                  Export of Castor Oil, (of non-edible grade),

(ii)                Export of Coconut Oil through Cochin Port,

(iii)               Deemed export of edible oils (as input raw material) from DTA to 100% EOUs for production of non-edible goods, to be exported, and

(iv)              Export of Oils produced out of minor forest produce, as per table given below, even if edible :
