S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act,1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 1^st September, 2004 –31^st March, 2009, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the “ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 1^st September, 2004 –31^st March, 2009” as under:

The condition stipulated in Column 5 against S. No.143 of Chapter 44 of Schedule 2 of the “ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 1^st September, 2004 –31^st March, 2009” shall be relaxed for a period of two months with effect from 7^th March, 2006 to allow export of 885.14 MT of A, B, C and D grades of Red Sanders Wood, in the form of log obtained from the Government of Andhra Pradesh through auction.

2. This issues in the public interest.
