S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign
Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with Para
1.3 and Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, the Central Government
hereby substitutes the existing entries pertaining to export policy of onions
at Sl.No.44 and 44A (as inserted by Notification No. 32(RE-2007)/ 2004-2009
dated 04.10.2007 and amended by
Notification No.37(RE-2007)/ 2004-2009
dated 15.10.2007 and Notification
No.41(RE-2007)/ 2004-2009 dated
23.10.2007) of Table B of Schedule 2 of ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and
Import Items (1st September, 2004-31st March, 2009) as
amended from time to time.
2. The substituted entry shall be as

3. Export Licensing Note 1 :
(a)Export
of Onions is allowed without quantitative ceiling subject to conditions of
quality laid out by NAFED from time to time.
(b)The
maximum service fee of one percent of the invoice value can be charged from the
exporter by the listed STEs.
