S.O. (E) - In
exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and
Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy –
2004-09, the Central Government hereby
amends the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import Items 2004-2009 as under
:
1. Item
number (vii) under second paragraph of Condition 16 of Chapter 1 A (General
Notes to Import Policy) of the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import
items, 2004-09 notified vide Notification No.
30 (RE-2007)/2004-09 dated 24th
September, 2007, shall be substituted by the following:
“(vii)
live pig and pig products (except processed pig bristles)”
2. This issues in public interest.
