NOTIFICATION No. 16 (RE-2006) / 2004-2009
NEW DELHI, DATED 29th June, 2006
S.O. (E) - In exercise of
powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation)
Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy – 2004-09, the
Central Government hereby amends Schedule-I (Imports) to the ITC (HS) Classification
of Export and Import Items, 2004-09 as under:
1. The existing policy for items falling at Exim Codes 1001 10 90
(Durum Wheat: Other) and 1001 90 20 (Other Wheat) shall remain in abeyance till
31st December 2006. During this period import of these items will be
allowed freely.
2. This issues in
public interest.
