NEW DELHI DATED THE 21st JUNE, 2005

S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act,1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with paragraph 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, as amended, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the “ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 2004-2009” : -

2. The H.S. Code No.2302 20 10 against Sl.No.71 of Chapter 23 under Heading “ Residues and Waste from the Food Industries, Prepared Animal Fodder” in Schedule – 2, Export Policy stands deleted to make “De-oiled Rice Bran” freely exportable.

3. This will have retrospective effect from 12.04.2005

4. This issues in public interest.
