NOTIFICATION  NO.  6 (RE-2004)/ 2004-2009

NEW DELHI  DATED  THE  15^TH OCTOBER, 2004

           In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph  2.4 and 2.29 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby make the following amendment in Schedule - 2 of ITC(HS) Classification of Exports and Imports 2004-2009:

2.     The following Export Licensing Note No. 1 may be inserted in Chapter 5 (i.e. Products of Animal Origin) of Schedule 2 of ITC (HS) :

Export Licensing Note No. 1:

     “The handicrafts made out of bone and horn products as finished products and not exported for further processing, and not intended for human or animal consumption are not covered under entry at S.No. 35 and 36 of this Chapter"
