(RE-2005)/2004-2009
S.O.(E) In exercise of
powers conferred by Section 5 of
the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act,1992 read with
paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade
Policy, 2004-2009, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments
in the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 updated as on 31st.March
2005.:

Easing Of
Documentation
Requirement
2.47. Pending the finalisation of
Single Common Document(SCD)for international trade, the Government Departments
dealing with exports and imports will honour the permission/license/certificate
issued by the other Government departments based on the verification of the export documents
Like shipping bill, bank realization certificate, Packing list, bill of lading
etc .and will not insist upon fresh submission of these
documents.
2.
“Advance
Licence is issued for duty free import of inputs, as defined in paragraph 4.1.3
subject to actual user condition. Such licences are exempted from payment of
basic customs duty, additional customs duty, education cess, antidumping duty
and safeguard duty, if any. However, the imports for supplies covered under
paragraph 8.2(i) and (j) will not be
exempted from the payment of applicable anti-dumping and safeguard duty if
any”.
