Subject:       Regarding last date for submission of applications for claiming benefits under DFCE for Status Holder Scheme under Exim Policy 2003-04

Attention is invited to Public Notice No.   15 (RE-2005)/2004-09 dated 04th June, 2005 and accordingly the last day for filing of applications for claiming benefits under DFCE Scheme for Status Holders is 31st December 2005.

2.       Representations have been received from various quarters seeking extension of the last date for filing of applications for claiming benefits under DFCE Scheme for Status Holders citing delay in obtaining documents from banks and in collecting information from supporting manufacturers/ suppliers.

3.       The matter has been considered and it has been decided that the last date for submission of application for claiming benefit under DFCE scheme for Status Holders will now be 31^st March 2006. It is also clarified that this is the last and final extension of last date and no further request will be entertained in this regard.

4.       This issues with the approval of competent authority.
